For me, buying art books and magazines is something of a treat and I would choose to buy books over clothes or shoes or groceries any day. I gave the bookmarks to my daughter's friend Trisha because she loves books and I thought she would enjoy using them. She's also a talented young artist who let me borrow and read her entire Twilight series and what's not to love about that?

What do you buy when you get a little money?

Cool bookmarks! Well, books are definitely on my list--not even art-related books, just novels, but good ones...you know, "literature," not garbage :)
But plenty of other things are on my list, too...decorative household items, purses and camera stuff when I have a bigger chunk of extra $$, the list goes on and on...
Great crop. And one of my favorite daydreams: "when I get a little money."
Usually its art supplies. When I get a lot of money, it's usually electronic gadgets. Books fall in between and only what I can't get from the library.
Loved the bookmarks and couldn't agree more with their message! Books on art journaling, collage, mixed media and of course the never ending fun of buying art supplies :-)
